Need to record and display your rowing results quickly and accurately, RegattaWeb is the only solution that you need.
Whether you are recording a head race (time trial) style race or side by side racing at a regatta, RegattaWeb is able to monitor all races on the course, time races and display the results in real time to enable competitors to see results quickly.
A typical set-up would consist of a mobile version of the application, which has been built to run on multi-touch mobile phones being employed at the start, and a laptop being used at the finish. The starter keys in the race number, the application then informs them who should be racing, they can then start the race, (note: the system is capable of recording multiple races at once). The finish computer can then see a list of races currently on the course and select the one that they wish to finish. They are presented with a screen displaying which crews are racing, along with which side of the river they are on. The finisher is then able to stop the stopwatch either by clicking on the stop button or pressing a keyboard shortcut. They can also enter additional information such as the official verdict and any additional notes.
Once the race is completed, and the results have been posted, they can then be viewed on a publicly available results page. There are three versions of the results page, a automatically scrolling one, that can be displayed on a projector at your event, a standard page that competitors can use when they wish, and a mobile version which has been optimised to run over the mobile networks.
